Biography

We are LILIAM. We make pop songs.

Our goal: To tell our own stories. The kind of stories which could be anyone’s. To make people feel. To make people happy. To give them comfort. To give them an outlet. But most of all: to sing beautiful songs, which will touch your heart and will never let you go.

LILIAM is:

• Jantine Heij – songwriting, piano, vocals

Two girls. Both evolving in their own musical journey, following their own paths. Sometimes the roads were bumpy, sometimes the roads were clear. But they never stopped searching and never stopped walking.

All of a sudden, a crossroad appeared – the place where the two girls met. One girl from the west, the other from the east. They looked each other in the eye and one girl said: “Where are you going?”, the other answered that she would follow the road, wherever it would take her.

So the one girl said: “Me too”. Only two words were needed, only one look was necessary. The two girls headed north, to the place where the good things hide.
